I knew I needed to take control of our financial situation, so I turned to YNAB. And while the first few months were tough as our true financial picture emerged, I soon found myself empowered by the clarity and control that YNAB provides. Instead of paying for past decisions, I started directing our money toward our priorities and goals - and our family gained so much peace around money.
That's why I became a certified YNAB coach - to share my experience using YNAB to budget while in the Foreign Service, living as an ex-pat, teaching internationally, or traveling abroad. Having a solid budget improved my family's financial situation, allowing us to enjoy the adventure and weather the challenges of living abroad.
